Ray’s work captures emotion in sprays of color and form. Each piece causes the viewer to invest in the movement or in the peace of the scene. Rarely does an artist use color and space to such a strong effect. It is easy, almost inevitable, for the viewer to see themselves reflected in his vibrant works.

Ray, your work is an inspiration. So much depth and meaning. So much to really look at and so thought provoking.

I like the way you paint. For me it looks like drawing a spiritual landscape of Malta.

Refreshing and yet, disturbing! I like the choice of colour applied for its own sake... becoming enveloped in a determined, near 3 dimensional border. Reminiscent of early Antoine Camilleri, a good friend of mine, whom I consider revolutionary and full of grit! Certainly different to the, alas, indifference of most of contemporary newcomers. Keep it up!

I was pleasantly surprised when I found that an old friend of mine has created such art. It must feel wonderful being able to express yourself so forcefully. The paintings are alive, vibrant and eloquent.

Auguri ancora e a prestissimo. Un abbraccio.
